CRN Documentation Checklist
Canadian CRN registration for Indian manufacturers and exporters.
Use this checklist to prepare a complete CRN submission and avoid the review cycles that cause most delays. (Tip: send these to us first, and we will tell you exactly what is missing, free.)
For all equipment
- ☐ General-arrangement drawing (dimensioned, showing pressure boundary)
- ☐ Detail drawings (nozzles, supports, welds, attachments)
- ☐ Design data sheet: design pressure, design temperature, MDMT, service/fluid, corrosion allowance, joint efficiency
- ☐ Design calculations to the governing code (ASME VIII / B31.3 / Section I / IV, etc.)
- ☐ Material specifications for all pressure parts (verified against ASME Section II)
- ☐ Material test certificates (where available)
- ☐ Quality-control (QC) program certificate: current and scope-appropriate
- ☐ Welding documentation (WPS / PQR references), where applicable
- ☐ Target Canadian province(s)
Additional: pressure vessels
- ☐ MDMT / UCS-66 impact-test assessment
- ☐ Nozzle reinforcement calculations
- ☐ Support / lug / saddle calculations
Additional: heat exchangers
- ☐ Both pressure chambers' design data (shell side + tube side)
- ☐ Tube-sheet and flange calculations
- ☐ TEMA class
Additional: fittings / valves / hoses
- ☐ Proposed CSA B51 category (A to H)
- ☐ Standard / proof-test / burst-test evidence (per category)
- ☐ Statutory Declaration of Compliance (if required)
Additional: piping
- ☐ Line list / service conditions
- ☐ Pipe-stress analysis (seismic where required, e.g. BC)
- ☐ Isometrics
